About time?

So well. I know I have not been that active in the last few months but here is another post.
What is going on? Well I work, I sleep, I plan the wedding, i worry that I have not been home in Sweden to see my parents, my brother and sister etc. And the truth is that there is time if you want to find it. And I will find it so...homecoming in June I guess. Cannot say early or late but June.
Otherwise the Netherlands is like usual....rain....rain....clouds...rain.......rain......you get the picture? Well it actually are not that bad but if you come from the Swedish east coast like me well that is what you think....for example a person from GB or from Norway (Bergen for example) would probably think the weather is quite OK here.

I will in the future try to be more active in the blog, I know I have time for that to. :)

Alot to do...and alot have been done...

...well now most things are starting to come together. We have finished all the paperwork for the wedding. Katia has a dress. I have a suit. Flowers have been booked. Church have been fixed and a place to have the luch also. What to eat is yet to be fully decided. All of this...already and still its about 4 moths left. So when is the BIG day....well the 23rd of August of course.

I have also finished my first italian course and on monday I start the next one. My italian is much better (and it should be) then previous, not only that. It is much better then expected!!

The spring is arriving in Holland. Keukenhof (the flower park) has been open for a few weeks and the leaves have just started to come out on the bigger trees. Some small bushes have already got their leaves and also some of the smaller trees have bright white, pink and fuxia flowers. Weather has been nice this weekend but still Holland is Holland. Tomorrow it might be raining.

NEWS! NEWS! NEWS!

I have not written in a while now, because I have had a lot of things to think about. And I guess I should say it right away...

I AM GETTING MARRIED!

I am almost chocked myself when I say it even though I have know about it for some time...well I should know I mean. I took the decision. It will happen on the 23rd of august in Riva Del Garda in Italy. An Italian wedding...what comes to mind is the movie: "My big Greek wedding" (I think it was called) but I think and hope that it will not be like that ;).


Anyway. A lot of things need to be done to the wedding. First there will be all the invitations to the wedding and the invitations for people to the dinner after. Only a selected few will be able to attend the dinner (few is in relative sense) already over 100people are expected, but of course everyone is welcome to the ceremony in the church. I will put up more about this later on Katias and mine common blog (will be online soon, link will be available here soon also).

Mental Calendar messup...

Amsterdam is getting more and more grey for every day and I heard rumors about frost. Fortunately I have not seen any yet but I guessit is just a matter of time. Yesterday the strangest thing happened. Since Katia did not goto her place until Tuesday morning my mental calendar kind of got tricked and I thought it was Monday. I therefore called my sister that I knew was not working on Monday evening and found out that she indeed was working (which of course was true since it was Tuesday). Her boyfriend must have thought I was drunk. Then my father called and I gave him the same story, *stare at the sky*. When Katia called in the evening I just remembered the phone calls and my brain finally made the connection. Bättre sent än aldrig!

Support when it is at it's best. The strange things you hear about. This one for example (that is probably fabricated) but anyhow the point it is trying to make is true.

I guess it is time to stop with support jobs soon. It is not good for your mental health even though you learn a lot of how people actually think. I think it is like they say about people behind the steering wheel of a car also applies to people behind the computer screen. For them there is only their way or the highway. But I guess it is like that. Well.

Now we will stop whining about support and about how people behave. Me an Katia had a really nice and calm weekend. We were going to a photo exhibition but it was so expensive that we decided to spend the same amount of money on lunch...*think*

I have been called for an interview in Germany for a PhD position. And that is both a curse and a blessing. Blessing because I want to work with astronomy and a curse because I keep moving around like a Jojo. I think Katia has the same opinion and now I bring this upon us as well...

But I'll do my best and will ofc take the position if I am offered. Otherwise the work at Dell is going smoothly. I think I will try to make my way into either the educational part or the production planning part. I have also been suggested quality and call coaching but I am not so sure about that.
